The DAY Family business has been owned & operated since 1945 as a family-owned business built on honesty & trust.

In the late 1960s Importer Herbert Osborne begun Importing the famous STIHL CHAINSAWS to AUSTRALIA.

By early 1961 E.E DAY & SONS PTY LTD became one of the fisrt agents chosen to sell, service & distribute the STIHL Products around the Ballarat district & Western Victoria. With the increased interest in the power of the new STIHL Chainsaws our famous DAYSON manufactured swing saws also known as the widow makers came to quick end.

Selling and Servicing the famous STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment, parts & accessories since 1961 making our business the longest STIHL Dealer in Australia provided the farming district & public with the latest technology, training & demo nights.

For 3 generations the DAY Family consisting of Ernie E.DAY & his 3 sons Maurice, Geoff & Colin lived, breathed & slept everything STIHL.

Today the business has been owned & operated for over 45 years by Colins son Mark Day the 3rd generation.

All 3 generations have had the pleasure to be associated with all 3 generations of the STIHL Family Mr Andreas STIHL, Mr Hans Peter STIHL & Dr Nikolas STIHL.

In 2026 STIHL CELEBRATES 100 YEARS & We will be Celebrating 65 Years of Selling their famous collection of STIHL Outdoor Power Equipment & 80 Years in Business.
